# User Guide - rooSports Platform

Welcome to **rooSports**, the all-in-one platform for youth sports events, coaching sessions, and family schedule management.

## 1. Getting Started
1. Access the platform at the deployed application URL or `http://localhost:3000`.
2. Sign up or log into your account. Ensure your password meets security guidelines (at least 8 characters, 1 uppercase, 1 digit, 1 special character).

## 2. Platform Portals
- **Dashboard**: View upcoming family sporting events, registered children, and quick notifications.
- **Events & Discover**: Search for local basketball clinics, youth sports leagues, and training sessions. Filter by age group, sport, and location.
- **Booking & Checkout**: Register children for events, select participation options, and complete simulated checkout.
- **Family Management**: Manage child profiles. Public leaderboards and community rosters protect child privacy by showing only approved nicknames or masked IDs.
- **Coach Portal**: Coaches can view attendance lists, schedule practices, and communicate with parents.

## 3. Account Privacy
- Child profiles are protected. Only authorized parents and assigned coaches can view full child names and contact details.
